We had a great value for our money at Pura Vida En. The room was comfortable and had air conditioning to keep us cool. The location was convenient, close to the bus station, and the staff treated us with kindness and helpfulness.
The breakfast option could be improved with more variety and options.

I had a fantastic stay at a budget-friendly hostel in Liberia. The private room was cozy and had excellent air conditioning. The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The location was perfect, close to the bus stop, grocery store, and local restaurants. The hostel had a charming common area filled with guests' artwork. I enjoyed the free coffee in the morning, a great way to start the day. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as limited bathrooms and some noise from the main road, I would definitely recommend staying at this hostel. I had a wonderful experience at Pura Vida En Liberia.

Nice hosts. Close to bus station, grocery store, and restaurants. Got a free breakfast, though not sure if it was just lucky. Location is great, just two blocks away.
No bed sheets provided. Had to sleep under towels and spare elasticated sheets.

I had a wonderful stay at Pura Vida En! the owner was incredibly happy and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. the room had air conditioning, which was a relief in the tropical heat, and it was nice and cool. I appreciated having a small kitchen to prepare meals in, and having my own bathroom was a bonus. the provided towels, soap, bath mat, and hand soap were all thoughtful touches. The location of the hostel was very convenient, being close to the bus station. Cons: All was good! 😊.

We had a great time at this hostel. the owner was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making our stay even more enjoyable. She helped us arrange transportation and even provided us with a useful map of the town. the rooms were clean, and we appreciated the free coffee and filtered sink water. the hostel had a fun, laid-back atmosphere, with guests even being able to write on the walls. We also felt safe with the owner's recommendation of not walking alone at night. it was a comfortable and convenient stay. Cons: Nothing, it was perfect! 😊.

Great location - minutes from the bus station and a perfect base to explore Rincon de la Vieja. Rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The shared kitchen was inviting, and there were plenty of electrical outlets in the room. The WiFi was excellent, and the beds were comfortable. The small kitchen allowed us to prepare our own meals.
The lack of privacy was a downside as the rooms and bathrooms were connected to the kitchen via ventilation windows. This also made it quite noisy during mornings and evenings, although we were able to sleep quietly at night.

We recently stayed at a hostel in Liberia called Pura Vida En, and we had a fantastic experience. the owners and staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring that all our needs were met. Though the room was small, it was sufficient for our stay and had the thoughtful addition of two fans - one for direct air and another to circulate warm air out of the room. In the evenings, an air conditioner was even turned on to cool off the rooms down the hallway. Coffee was included with our stay, and there was a TV in the room if needed. we felt comfortable and well taken care of during our time there. Cons: Can't think of anything! 😊.
